Founding Partner

Marcelo Andrés Rodríguez Belmar He is a founding partner of Rodríguez Belmar Abogados (GR ABOGADOS). His practice focuses on strategic labor and employment counseling, encompassing the various areas of labor law, including collective bargaining, labor relations, litigation, dispute resolution, negotiation strategies, and overall people management. Mr. Rodríguez has been recognized for his work in the Energy industry by the international ranking The Legal 500. Previously, Marcelo served as Legal Manager and Corporate Secretary of the Board of Directors at Empresa Nacional del Petróleo (ENAP). At the company, he also held the positions of Head of the Legal Department at the Biobío Refinery and Legal Director of Administrative, Labor, and Contract Affairs, directly advising the company’s various management teams and designing corporate strategies for diverse collective bargaining and contractual negotiations. He also worked at Caprile y Cía. in Concepción and served in the Chilean Judiciary for several years. He earned his law degree from the University of Concepción, graduating with two honors distinctions. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Corporate Law from the Universidad del Desarrollo, a Master’s Degree in People and Organizational Management from the Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, and a Diploma in Negotiation from the School of Engineering at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Marcelo Rodríguez has also served as a professor of Procedural Law at the Universidad del Desarrollo.
